The south side of the third floor is a large open sun terrace.
This terrace faces due south and has good views on three sides. The view is dominated by the Canigou mountain due south. To the east is the picturesque village of Eus situated on a promontary. On the west side is the church tower with the Pyrenees climbing into the distance.
There are a number of plants on the terrace including cactuses and two olive trees, which fruit in summer.
The terrace catches sun throughout the day, even in winter it gets hot!
Attic bedroom
On the third floor there is a large attic room. A converted grenier, it has rustic features such as the original beams, round windows and wooden floor.
The attic is ideal as a family bedroom, easily spacious enough to sleep 4. There is a king-size double bed and a pair of single beds.
The attic has a modern en-suite shower room with WC. The window of this room has a lovely view looking west up the valley.
The terrace is perfect for alfresco eating. There is a barbecue, large table and chairs, a parasol and candle lanterns for evening dining.
