The Green Room
This double room is very French. There is a full length, shuttered French window leading onto a small balcony. It has a simple framed, four poster double bed.
Flexibility
These two rooms share an en-suite shower room.
They can be used as a suite with a dressing room, as a family suite with a room for a child, or as two bedrooms sharing a bathroom.
The Blue Room
This is a light, airy room with a single day bed. The view over the rooftops opposite is of the Corbiere hills. It is great for a peaceful siesta.
All three en-suite shower rooms were installed in 2003. They are fitted out to a high, modern standard with full size showers, WCs and basins. They are fully tiled and ventilated.
On the south side of this floor is a large double bedroom. It is our favourite even though it needed the most work. The house used to be owned by an artist and this was his workshop - as you can tell if you examine the floor! The room has a beautiful quality of light and an enticing view of the Canigou mountain over the rooftops.
We have installed an en-suite shower room with WC to make a comfortable bedroom, but kept the large enamel sink from when it was a workshop - it is now a dressing table.
